Bynde bags are made by skilled hands in small numbers at our Manchester studio. We like clean design, superior materials and doing things properly. Every element must earn its place. A bag should work hard without looking like it does. We think how something is made matters every bit as much as how it looks. So we take our time.

A handbag has a relatively simple job to do. We see no reason why it can’t be unreasonably chic while doing it.

Our founder, Susy, is particular about handbags. With a background in fashion and a career spent building brands, she created Bynde as somewhere to put all those opinions to good use.

Bynde is built around the things she loves - nailing the details, finding the sweet spot between classic and modern, and the firm belief that style and substance should be best friends.
